Two models, sized to the line they sit on

The ZXSJ-UVC series is two in-line ultraviolet units that differ in one practical way: how much water they are rated to treat. The 1 GPM (4 LPM) model takes 1/4" quick-connect fittings and suits a single drinking-water outlet; the 3 GPM (11.4 LPM) model takes 3/8" and suits a multi-outlet or higher-demand draw. Both are post-treatment units — fitted on the treated line of an RO or under-sink system, after any storage tank and before the point of use. Neither is a stand-alone water purifier.

The series

Two models, one job

Both units do the same thing at the same position on the line. The choice between them is a flow rating and a fitting size — not a difference in what the unit does.

Flagship · 1 GPM

ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM — 1 GPM (4 LPM), 1/4" quick-connect

Rated at 1 GPM (4 LPM) with 1/4" push-fit ports on both ends, which is the tubing size most under-sink RO sets already use. Typical application: a single under-sink RO tap and point-of-use drinking water. It is the model covered by the CE certificate and the EPA establishment registration.

1 GPM / 4 LPM 1/4" push-fit
Higher flow · 3 GPM

ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM — 3 GPM (11.4 LPM), 3/8" quick-connect

Rated at 3 GPM (11.4 LPM) with 3/8" push-fit ports, for installations where the draw at the point of use is higher or more than one outlet is fed from the same treated line. Same housing, same operation, larger bore.

3 GPM / 11.4 LPM 3/8" push-fit
Choosing between them

Three lines differ. Everything else is common.

Everything else in the series is shared: the housing material, the operating principle, the indicator, the power adapter, the mounting position and the feed-water limits. The full parameter list, including the values that are not published and why, is on the series data sheet.

Common to both models

Parameters common to ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM and ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM
ParameterValue
Product type In-line UVC-LED sterilizer — a post-treatment unit for RO and under-sink water purifiers. Not a stand-alone purifier.
Housing materialStainless steel
Operation Flow-sensor actuated — starts on flow, stops when flow stops. No switch, no timer.
Indicator Ring light — blue: powered / standby · green: sterilising · red: fault
Water temperatureCold water only — 32–100 °F (0–37.8 °C)
Intended water Pre-filtered drinking water. Not for river, lake, well or other unfiltered supply.
Mounting position On the treated line, after any storage tank and immediately before the point of use
Working water pressure 0.1–0.3 MPa (14.5–43.5 psi) working · maximum 0.4 MPa (58 psi)
Power adapter Model HSTF-2401500C · input 100–240 V~ 50/60 Hz · output 24.0 V · 1.5 A
UVC-LED rated life 15,000 hours — a manufacturer design rating, not a measured figure. No lifetime test evidence is held; see what is not published on the data sheet.
CE conformity certificate Covered — DPCW/01068/06/KA/26, issued for the models ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM and ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM
EPA establishment registration Covered — 105777-CHN-1. A facility registration held by the manufacturer, not a product certification, and with no pre-market review of the product. See how to read the two documents.
What is deliberately absent from this table

No microbiological inactivation rate, no log-reduction figure, no UV dose in mJ/cm² and no validated lifetime. Those are absent because the evidence behind them does not exist, not because it is being held back. Where a project needs one of them, the conversation is about a test programme rather than a number — the dose article sets out why.

Specifying

Three measurements decide the model

Flow at the point of use

A single drinking-water tap and a branch feeding several outlets are not the same duty. Where the figure is unknown, it is measured at the outlet rather than assumed from the supply pressure.

Tubing already in the run

The unit is fitted into a line that exists. A 1/4" run and a 3/8" run are served by different models, and adapting one to the other introduces a joint that did not need to be there.

What the unit will sit behind

Both models assume pre-filtered drinking water and depend on the upstream stages meeting the feed-water limits. Fitting either model behind an overdue pre-filter is the most common way an installation ends up outside its conditions of use.

Tell us the line and we will match the model

Send the tubing size already in the run, the draw at the point of use, and what sits in front of the unit. Those three select the model; everything else in the series is shared.

Scope and document control

4 sources
  1. Values on this page are the manufacturer's published figures and are reproduced from the product parameter table. Where a value depends on the unit you receive, the manual supplied with it governs.
  2. The EPA entry is an establishment registration — a facility registration held by the manufacturer. It is not a product certification and involves no pre-market review of the product. The CE entry is a conformity certificate issued for the two models named above. Nothing is asserted for any other market.
  3. The 15,000-hour figure is a manufacturer design rating. It is not a measured service life and is not presented as one, in line with the standard applied across this site.
  4. No microbiological performance figure, log-reduction figure, UV dose value or validated lifetime is published. Those documents do not exist, and the data sheet lists them as absent rather than pending.

Document control. Published 10 October 2026 | Reviewed by the SKWEIT® technical documentation team. Author: SKWEIT® technical documentation (Suzhou Purple Core Instant Purification Technology Co.,Ltd.).

Scope note. Both models are post-treatment components for pre-filtered drinking water and require a host system that filters. They are not stand-alone water purifiers, and no claim is made on this page that either unit removes a dissolved contaminant.
