What is on file for the ZXSJ-UVC series

Three items exist, and this page lists them by reference number rather than by badge: an EU conformity certificate covering the models ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM and ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM; a United States EPA establishment registration held by the manufacturer; and a United States registered trademark for the SKWEIT® name. What is not held is set out with the same prominence as what is — a credential list that only shows one side of the ledger is a sales page, not a certification page.

The three items, and exactly what each one covers

Credentials held for the ZXSJ-UVC series
ItemReferenceWhat it covers
EU conformity — Low Voltage Directive and EMC DPCW/01068/06/KA/26
issued by INTERCERT Global (Warsaw)
valid 2 Jun 2026 – 5 Jun 2031
Models ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM and ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM. The certificate holder is the manufacturer.
US EPA establishment registration 105777-CHN-1
valid to 28 Feb 2027, renewed annually
A facility registration under FIFRA §7. It registers the establishment that produces the devices, not the devices themselves. It is not a product certification, and it is not described as one anywhere on this site.
Registered trademark — United States SKWEIT® — Reg. No. 8,213,072
Int. Cl. 11 · recorded assignment Reel/Frame 9304/0180
Covers water purification installations and water filters. Owned by the manufacturer. Always written with the ® symbol.

Certification is quoted by number because a number can be checked. A badge cannot: it travels without the document behind it, and it is the document — the scope, the holder and the model list — that a buyer actually relies on. The registration number of the establishment, the certificate number of the conformity assessment and the registration number of the trademark are therefore given wherever a credential is mentioned on this site.

The other side of the ledger

What is not held, and is not claimed

FCC, RoHS and UN38.3

None of these approvals is held for the ZXSJ-UVC series. None is claimed, and none is implied by a similar-sounding phrase elsewhere on this site.

No product certification for the United States

There is no US product certification beyond the establishment registration. An establishment registration attached to the manufacturer is sometimes presented as though it certified the product; on this site it is described only as what it is.

No NSF mark, no Class A claim

NSF certification is not held. No NSF mark is displayed and no Class A compliance is asserted, in either direction.

Three further statements deliberately absent

No performance figures. No microbiological performance figure, no log-reduction figure, no UV dose value and no validated service life are published for these models — the reasons are set out in the articles on what a dose figure means and in the data sheet, which is the single place a specification is published.

No trademark registration asserted outside the United States. Trademark status in the EU, the United Kingdom and Canada has not been verified, and no registration is claimed there.

No manufacturer claim over the production facility. The manufacturing and quality-control photographs on this site document the process applied to these products. They are not offered as evidence of property, of facility audit, or of capacity beyond the figures stated on the manufacturer page.

How these documents get misread

Three readings that change what a document proves

A registration is not a certification

An establishment registration is attached to a facility and answers “where was this made”. A certification is attached to a named model and a standard and answers “was this design assessed”. The two look alike on a page and are not interchangeable.

The name on the certificate is not the marketing brand

The conformity and registration documents carry a trade name that differs from the brand operated in the market. They were issued to the same manufacturer and cover the same model numbers. That trade name is not used as a marketing brand here and has not been licensed to any party.

Coverage is anchored to a model, not to a brand

A legitimate statement reads “models ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM and ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM hold CE conformity certificate DPCW/01068/06/KA/26”. Rewriting it as a brand holding a certificate stretches the document past what its holder signed.

Why the establishment registration is quoted anyway

It is worth quoting precisely because it is real: the establishment is on the EPA register under number 105777-CHN-1, the registration carries an annual reporting obligation, and a buyer who understands what it does and does not cover is better placed to read the next supplier's paperwork than one who is handed a badge.

Verification

How to check each number yourself

Trademark — USPTO TSDR

Registration number 8,213,072 can be looked up at tsdr.uspto.gov, where the current owner, the international class and the recorded assignment appear in the public record.

Establishment — US EPA

Establishment registrations are held by the US Environmental Protection Agency; the registration number 105777-CHN-1 is checkable against the agency's published material at epa.gov. A registration is a facility record and does not describe product performance.

Conformity certificate — from the holder

The conformity certificate is issued as a document to the manufacturer and is supplied on request against the model list above. Ask for it by number (DPCW/01068/06/KA/26) and check that the model numbers on it are the models you are buying.

Two questions worth asking any supplier

“Which models does the document name?” A certificate that names no model is not a certificate for the product in front of you. “Who is the holder?” The holder is the party the issuing body assessed, and it should be traceable to the party you are buying from.

Need a document, or a copy of one

Certificates, the data sheet and the instruction manual are issued against a model list. Tell us the models and the market you are importing into, and the documents that apply to that combination come back with the reply.

  • Models: ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM (1 GPM / 4 LPM, 1/4") | ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM (3 GPM / 11.4 LPM, 3/8")
  • On file: CE conformity DPCW/01068/06/KA/26 · EPA Establishment No. 105777-CHN-1 · US Reg. No. 8,213,072
  • Issued per order: net weight, unit dimensions, carton data, pricing, lead time

Scope and document control

5 sources
  1. Every reference number on this page is taken from the document held by the manufacturer: the conformity certificate, the EPA establishment registration and the United States trademark registration. Nothing on this page is derived from a secondary source.
  2. Certification statements on this site are model-anchored. Where a credential is mentioned, the models it covers are named in the same sentence.
  3. Credentials that are not held are named as not held rather than omitted, so that their absence cannot be read as an oversight. This includes FCC, RoHS, UN38.3 and NSF, and any US product certification beyond the establishment registration.
  4. No microbiological performance figure, log-reduction figure, UV dose value or validated service life is published on this page. Product values are published on the data sheet and nowhere else.
  5. Documents are supplied to a buyer on a per-order basis against a model list. This page is not legal, regulatory or import-compliance advice for any jurisdiction; importers remain responsible for the requirements of the market they are importing into.

Scope note. This page describes the credentials held for the ZXSJ-UVC series of in-line UVC post-treatment units for pre-filtered drinking water. It is not a specification, not a warranty and not regulatory advice, and it does not describe the units as stand-alone water purifiers.
