What can be read now, and what comes with an order

Documentation for this series falls into three groups and it is worth knowing which one you are asking for. The series data sheet is published and carries every value the manufacturer has released — including the ones that do not exist, marked as absent rather than left blank. Commercial data (net weight, dimensions, carton figures, pricing, lead time) is issued per order against a quotation. Certificates and registrations are identified on request, by market.

One page carrying the series parameters, the feed-water limits that are conditions of use, and a list of the figures that are not published with the reason each one is missing.

ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM and 3GPM — series specification

Rated flow, fittings, housing material, working pressure, the power adapter, operation, the indicator, the temperature range, mounting position, the UVC-LED design rating, and the feed-water limits — parameter by parameter across the two models. Items common to both are marked as common rather than repeated, and items that are not published are marked in place, because a table is more useful with its gaps visible than with them guessed at.

Read down the “status” column first. A document that does not exist is listed as not existing rather than as being prepared — a buyer who is told a report is coming waits for something that is not on its way.

UV dose (mJ/cm²) Not published. A dose figure describes a product together with its test conditions. Not available. Where a project requires a dose value, the conversation is about a test programme.
Lifetime test evidence for the LED assembly Not held. The 15,000-hour figure is a manufacturer design rating, not a measured result. Not available. Where a market requires an evidenced lifetime claim, the assembly is qualified under that market's programme.

The same documents, read three ways

Procurement

Start with the registration and certificate entries, because the two documents look alike on a page and answer different questions. The four questions that settle it can be answered from the paperwork alone.

Engineering

Start with the feed-water limits, not the rated flow. The limits decide whether the unit can be used at all on a given supply; the flow rating only decides which of the two models fits.

Compliance and tendering

Read the absent-documents rows as carefully as the present ones. Where a tender requires a number this series does not publish, the answer is that the evidence does not exist — and that is a different answer from “not yet supplied”.

Why some figures are absent rather than omitted here

A blank line in a specification usually means “ask us”. On this site it means the information is absent, and each page says which of the two it is. That is the whole reason the data sheet keeps its gaps visible: a reader who cannot tell the difference will assume a number exists and plan around a specification that was never established.

Name the document and the market you are working to. Where the document exists it is issued; where it does not, the reply says so rather than leaving a date open.

  1. The inventory above reflects the documents held by the manufacturer at the date of publication. Where a document is listed as absent, it is absent — it is not being prepared, and no date should be inferred for it.
  2. The EPA entry is an establishment registration: a facility registration held by the manufacturer, not a product certification, and with no pre-market review of the product. The CE entry is a conformity certificate issued for the models named. Nothing is asserted for any other market.
  3. The trademark entry records a registration held by the manufacturer in the United States. Other jurisdictions are not asserted, and their absence from this page is deliberate.
  4. No microbiological performance figure, log-reduction figure, UV dose value or validated lifetime is published for either model, and none should be inferred from a document listed here.
