Series data sheet: ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM and 3GPM

One page carrying everything the manufacturer has published about the series — rated flow, fittings, materials, the power adapter, operation, and the feed-water limits that are conditions of use. It also lists what is not published, and why, because a data sheet that is silent about a missing figure leaves the buyer to assume there is one. Where a value depends on the unit you receive, the manual that ships with it governs.

The two models, parameter by parameter

Values are as marked on the product label and printed in the product parameter table. Items that are common to both models are marked as such rather than repeated, and items that are not published are marked in place — the table is more useful with its gaps visible than with them filled in.

Why the carton data is not printed here

Net weight, unit dimensions, carton dimensions and units per carton are issued with the quotation rather than published as a standing figure, because they are the numbers a buyer checks against a duty and freight calculation. Issuing them per order means the figure supplied is the figure for the configuration being shipped.

What actually differs, and what does not
Model comparison: ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM against ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM A comparison table. Three rows differ between the two models: rated flow, which is one gallon per minute on the 1GPM model and three gallons per minute on the 3GPM model; the water pipe fitting, which is a quarter inch quick-connect on the 1GPM model and three eighths inch on the 3GPM model; and the installations each suits, a single under-sink RO tap against multi-outlet or higher-demand installations. A panel below lists six properties shared by both models, including working pressure, stainless-steel housing, the external 24 volt adapter, flow-sensor actuation, the ring-light indicator and the mounting position on the treated line. Two models, and one decision: the flow rate of the system you are fitting to ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM Rated flow 1 GPM (4 LPM) 3 GPM (11.4 LPM) Water pipe fitting 1/4" quick-connect (push-fit), both ports 3/8" quick-connect (push-fit), both ports Suited to A single under-sink RO tap; point-of-use Multi-outlet or higher-demand installations Identical on both models Working water pressure: 0.1–0.3 MPa (14.5–43.5 psi) · maximum 0.4 MPa (58 psi) Housing: stainless steel · cold water only, 32–100 °F (0–37.8 °C) Adapter HSTF-2401500C: input 100–240 V~ 50/60 Hz · output 24.0 V 1.5 A Flow-sensor actuated: starts on flow, stops when flow stops · no switch, no timer Ring-light indicator: blue powered/standby · green sterilising · red fault Mounting: on the treated line, after any storage tank, immediately before the point of use Both models are in-line UVC-LED post-treatment units for RO and under-sink water purifiers —not stand-alone purifiers, and not removal devices. Every value above is taken from the series table.

Only three things separate the two models. Everything else — pressure, housing, adapter, actuation, indicator and mounting position — is shared, which is why the sizing question is about the host system rather than the unit.

Conditions of use

Feed-water limits — the same for both models

These are not options and not preferences. They are the conditions under which the unit behaves as its specification says it will, and meeting them is the obligation of the treatment upstream of it. The mechanism behind each limit, and what happens when it is missed, is set out on the feed water page.

Model numbering

How the model numbers are built — and the two that are not model numbers

Model numbers in this series follow a fixed pattern, and the pattern is worth stating because the catalogue is sometimes quoted with flow-rate descriptions in place of the model numbers. Those descriptions are not interchangeable with the model number on the certificate, the packaging or the nameplate.

The pattern behind the model number
Structure of the ZXSJ-UVC model number The model number ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM is broken into three parts: ZXSJ identifies the product family, UVC identifies the disinfection technology, and the trailing value states the rated flow in gallons per minute. The same pattern gives ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM for the 3 gallon per minute model. ZXSJ product family - UVC technology - [flow] GPM rated flow in gallons per minute → ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM the only two numbers in production “4 LPM” and “10 LPM” are flow-rate descriptions used in some catalogue copy — they are not model numbers. The model number on the certificate, the packaging and the nameplate is the one that governs.
When ordering, quoting or raising a shipping document, use the model number on the nameplate. A flow description is not a substitute for it, and a document that carries the wrong identifier is a document that will be queried at the other end.
Documents

What can be issued, and what does not exist

Buyers in regulated markets need to know what documentation can be put in front of a customs officer, a distributor's technical file or an end customer's auditor. This table is written from the other direction: it states what exists and what does not, so that nobody is left to infer the second from the first.

Documentation available for the ZXSJ-UVC series
DocumentStatusHow it is obtained
Instruction manual Exists — revision 01.03 in circulation. The binding procedure for installation and commissioning. Ships with every unit; a copy can be issued ahead of an order on request.
Product parameter table Exists — the source of the values in the series table above. Issued on request. Values are also reproduced on this page.
CE conformity certificate Exists — DPCW/01068/06/KA/26, issued by INTERCERT Global sp. z o.o. (Warsaw); certificate holder Suzhou Purple Core Instant Purification Technology Co.,Ltd. Original copies available to buyers on request. The certificate carries a trade name that differs from the marketing brand; the holder is the same manufacturer and the model numbers are identical.
EPA establishment registration Exists — 105777-CHN-1. A facility registration: it registers the establishment at which the devices are produced and certifies no performance. Registration details issued on request.
Trademark registration Exists — SKWEIT®, United States registration 8,213,072, International Class 11, held by the manufacturer. Registration status confirmed on request. Other jurisdictions are not asserted.
Microbiological performance or contaminant reduction report Does not exist. No inactivation rate, log reduction or reduction claim is held, and none is made anywhere on this site. Not available — this is not a delayed document, it is an absent one. Any figure of this kind presented as ours should be queried.
UV dose (mJ/cm²) Not published. A dose figure describes a product together with its test conditions; publishing one without the supporting report would be a number without a source. Not available. Where a project requires a dose value, discuss the test programme rather than a figure.
Lifetime test evidence for the LED assembly Not held. The 15,000-hour figure is a manufacturer design rating, not a measured result. See what is not published. Not available. Where a market requires an evidenced lifetime claim, the assembly should be qualified under the buyer's own programme.
Net weight, unit dimensions, carton data Issued per order rather than published as a standing figure. Supplied with the quotation.
Pricing, minimum order and lead time Commercial, not technical. Supplied with the quotation against a stated destination and volume.
In the open

What a data sheet like this usually implies, and does not here

A product table with a blank line usually means “ask us”. In this industry it often means something stronger, and the difference matters to anyone building a technical file. So the gaps are named below.

Gaps that are administrative

  • Net weight, unit dimensions, carton dimensions and units per carton — exist, issued with the quotation so the figures match the configuration being shipped.
  • Pricing, minimum order quantity and lead time — exist, commercial, and dependent on destination and volume.
  • 3GPM model-specific detail beyond the series table — the manufacturer issues it with the order documentation; the series values above are published.

Gaps that are substantive

  • Microbiological performance — no report exists. Nothing on this site asserts an inactivation figure, and none will appear until a report does.
  • UV dose — deliberately not published. A dose without its test conditions is not a specification, it is a marketing number.
  • Validated service life — the LED rating is a design figure; there is no test evidence behind it. Where a claim has to be evidenced, the qualification programme is the buyer's.
  • Contaminant reduction — not applicable by design. The unit removes nothing, so there is nothing in this category to certify.
The rule this page follows

A number without a source is not published here. Where a figure has to come from a test the manufacturer has not run, the page is written without the figure and says so. That is why the table above has four rows that a buyer will read as a gap — they are a gap, they are named, and a buyer who needs the qualification programme can plan for it instead of discovering it after the order.

Specifying

What to send, in the order it decides the model

  1. What the line serves and its peak draw. This decides 1 GPM or 3 GPM, and it is decided by the draw that can occur simultaneously rather than by the system's rated output.
  2. The tubing and fittings already installed. 1/4" or 3/8" — the fitting size is a practical constraint that can decide the model before the flow figure does.
  3. Whether there is a storage tank, and where. The unit belongs after it. If the cabinet has no workable run after the tank, that is the constraint to discuss first.
  4. What is filtering upstream, and on what schedule. The unit's conditions of use are the upstream system's obligations, and a pre-filter past its change interval is the most common way a UV stage ends up working on water it was not specified for.
  5. Water test values, where the supply is private. Turbidity, iron, manganese, hardness and pH answer the conditions-of-use question before it is asked.
  6. The destination market. It decides which documentation has to travel with the goods, and whether a performance or lifetime claim will be required that the manufacturer does not currently hold evidence for.
One thing worth checking early

If the destination market requires an evidenced microbiological or lifetime claim, establish that at the start. It is a qualification programme with a lead time, not a document request — and it is easier to plan around before a launch date is set than after.

Common questions

Datasheets and model numbers

Is the 1 GPM model the same unit as the 3 GPM model?

Same series, same housing material, same adapter, same operation and the same indicator. The differences are the rated flow and the fitting size — 1 GPM with 1/4" ports and 3 GPM with 3/8" ports, for higher-draw or multi-outlet installations. Everything common to both is marked as such in the series table.

Why is there no UV dose figure on the data sheet?

Because a dose figure describes a product together with its test conditions, and no supporting report is held for it. Publishing a number without the report behind it would give a buyer something that looks like a specification but cannot be verified. Where a project requires a dose value, the conversation is about a test programme rather than a figure pulled from a web page.

The catalogue quotes 4 LPM and 10 LPM — which models are those?

They are flow-rate descriptions used in some catalogue copy, not model numbers. The model numbers in production are ZXSJ-UVC-1GPM (1 GPM / 4 LPM) and ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM (3 GPM / 11.4 LPM), and those are the identifiers carried on the certificate, the packaging and the nameplate. Where a document has to match a shipping document, use the nameplate model number.

Can net weight and carton data be supplied before an order?

Yes, against a quotation. They are issued per order rather than published as a standing figure so that the numbers supplied match the configuration being shipped — which is what a freight and duty calculation needs.

What certifications come with the unit?

A CE conformity certificate (DPCW/01068/06/KA/26, INTERCERT Global) covering both models, and an EPA establishment registration (105777-CHN-1) which is a facility registration rather than a product certification. No NSF certification, no FCC certification, no RoHS declaration and no UN38.3 report is held, and no such claim is made. The full position is set out in the compliance section.

  2. Model-number pattern and the statement that 4 LPM and 10 LPM are flow-rate descriptions rather than model numbers: attributed to the manufacturer's product documentation and to the identifiers carried on the certificate, packaging and nameplate.
  3. Certification status: CE conformity certificate DPCW/01068/06/KA/26 (INTERCERT Global sp. z o.o., Warsaw), certificate holder Suzhou Purple Core Instant Purification Technology Co.,Ltd.; EPA Establishment registration No. 105777-CHN-1, a facility registration and not a product certification; SKWEIT® United States trademark registration 8,213,072, International Class 11.
  4. UVC-LED life: manufacturer design rating of 15,000 hours at not less than 60 per cent of initial output, per the supplier reliability documentation. Cited as a design rating — not a validated service-life claim, and no test evidence is held for it.
  5. Deliberately not published: UV dose in mJ/cm², microbiological performance and contaminant-reduction figures, and validated service life. No such figure is asserted anywhere on this site, and no figure from another manufacturer's product is reproduced as ours.
