In-Line UVC Water Sterilizer — ZXSJ-UVC-3GPM
The higher-flow model in the same series: a stainless-steel UVC-LED sterilizer rated 3 GPM (11.4 LPM) on 3/8" quick-connect tubing. Same housing construction, same flow-actuated operation and the same power adapter as the 1 GPM model — different rated flow, different fittings, and built for systems that feed more than one outlet.

When is the 3 GPM model the right choice?
When the sterilizer has to keep up with more than a single drinking-water tap, or when the installation already uses 3/8" tubing. A single under-sink RO faucet typically draws well under 1 GPM; the 3 GPM model is for systems that serve several draw points from one treatment line, or where a 3/8" line is what is already on the wall.
Both models in this series share the same design: a stainless-steel housing, a flow sensor on the inlet, a UVC-LED emitter chamber and a ring indicator. Nothing about the construction changes between them — the difference is the rated flow and the port size, and both are certified under the same two instruments.
More than one draw point
Where a single treated line feeds two or more taps, the total simultaneous draw is what the sterilizer has to handle, not the flow of one faucet.
3/8" tubing already installed
Matching the existing line avoids adapters and extra joints — every added joint is another potential leak point in a retrofit.
Higher-demand appliances
Equipment that draws treated water at a higher rate than a drinking tap, connected on the same post-treatment line.
3 GPM is a rating for a post-treatment line, not a building supply. This model is not a point-of-entry or whole-house treatment system, and the rated flow should not be read as covering simultaneous demand across a property. If the requirement is building-wide, this is the wrong product category.

15,000 hours is the design rating for the UVC-LED assembly, taken from the manufacturer's product specification. It is not a tested lifetime figure and we do not present it as one. Real service life depends on drive current, thermal conditions and water quality. Where regulated markets require an evidenced lifetime claim, the LED assembly should be qualified by your own programme before that claim is made in your market.

What the 3 GPM rating does and does not cover
A flow rating is a single number, and it is easy to read more into it than it says. The rating describes the flow at which the unit is specified to treat water — it is not a promise about pressure drop across a shared line, and it does not stack with other treatment stages.
| The rating covers | The rating does not cover |
|---|---|
| Water passing this unit at up to 3 GPM (11.4 LPM) at the specified pressure and clarity | Simultaneous draw across a property — this remains a point-of-use device, not a point-of-entry system |
| Pre-filtered water, cold, within the stated feed water envelope | Unfiltered or hard water — scale on the quartz sleeve reduces UV transmission regardless of flow rating |
| A single treatment line downstream of a purifier or storage tank | Flow losses elsewhere in the system, or the capacity of the purifier feeding this unit |
Buying a larger rated flow than the system needs does not produce better water — it only changes the fittings you have to stock and the line size you have to run. Size to the actual simultaneous draw, then check that the feed water is inside the operating envelope. If those two conditions are met, the rating is doing its job.
